How it all began
Saphira is a Swiss Canadian singer, whose love of singing began at the age of 4, when she played Gretel in the Musical “The Sound of Music”. In the summer of 2013, Saphira’s choir teacher said she should audition for the Voice Kids of Germany. In the fall Saphira auditioned and made it through thousands of competition, ending up as one of the few lucky singers to make it to the televised Blind Auditions. She not only sang her way onto Team Henning, as the second youngest talent on Team Henning, Saphira performed together with two older talents and their trio was named the “Champions League Battle”.
Since then, singer, songwriter and musical star Patric Scott has become Saphira’s vocal coach, which has lead to numerous opportunities to perform on stage and to record new songs in the studio.
In the summer of 2014 Saphira went to LA to attend the New York Film Academy summer camp to learn about acting for film. She also had a singing session with Nick Cooper, and was able to perform one evening along side of musical greats, such as Kenneth Crouch, CJ Emmons, TC Carson and Claudia Klein.
